Artistic Process
I first mapped out the feather colors and pattern, then applied them to the bird’s form.
- Brushes & tools: Round (0, 1, 2), ½" stroke, Micron Black 0.5 pen.
- Paints: Black, White, Deep Rose, Light Yellow, Cadmium Orange, Sap Green, Ultramarine Purple, Cobalt Blue.
Reflections
I love working in this style, and I think it will translate beautifully to many different animals.
