Inspiration

A special rabbit named Brian. Rescued from a school playground, he joined an adopted family of cats, dogs, and people. He loved to curl up in his blanket baskets with a picture-perfect view of birds, wild turkeys, and deer feeding near a pine tree. His favorites? Apple-branch twigs, fresh cilantro, carrots, and apples.

Artistic Process

Beyond nailing his expression—mouth, nose, eyes—I most enjoyed playing with the sky and the sun’s shifting dance from sunrise to sunset.
