Minnie was a rescue—very young and incredibly tiny when she was found. I painted this piece for my family.

Inspiration
Minnie is as playful as her coloring—right down to that signature orange nose stripe.
Artistic Process
I spent a lot of time experimenting with vivid colors to capture the look of her coat—she has such unique markings.
- Brushes: ¼" grainer; Round 1, 2; 1" stroke.
- Paints: Cadmium Orange, Sap Green, Cadmium Yellow, Lunar Black, Titanium White, Manganese Blue Hue.

I love the expression on her little face.
